Daria Borecki (Registered Psychologist,Masters of Professional Psychology, Macquarie University).
Daria is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). She has experience in working with children, adolescents and adults. Daria has previous exposure and familiarity with presentations such as depression, anxiety, intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, grief and loss, parenting and attachment, emotion regulation concerns, relationship difficulties and anger management issues. Daria strongly believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and creating a warm and accepting environment for clients to feel safe to explore. Daria draws from a range of psychological interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing and dialectical behaviour therapy models. Daria also works at headspace and has previously worked with an NDIS provider and in the school setting.
