Dr Megan Young graduated from a Bachelor of Medicine at James Cook University in 2011. She trained at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and then Ipswich Hospital before moving to Central Queensland to do General Practice training. Megan gained her fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. She has a Family Planning certificate and has previously worked for True (formerly Family Planning Queensland), Family Planning NSW, and in a Sexual Health Clinic. Megan has particular interest in mental health, complex disease management, and women’s and children’s’ health.
Outside of medicine, Megan enjoys travel, yoga, meditation, and cooking.
