Jessica Inman-Hislop

Jessica Inman-Hislop is a Clinical Psychologist with experience working in private practice, inpatient and outpatient mental health care, and university settings. She is dedicated to providing evidence-based interventions tailored to her clients’ needs, and has a warm, empathic, and collaborative therapeutic style in working with her clients to achieve their goals and make changes in their lives where they feel this is needed.

Jessica is experienced in providing individual and group therapy for adults and adolescents presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and difficulties with emotion regulation, stress management, social skills, and school stress. She focuses on providing skills-based therapy to increase her clients’ self-efficacy, and has experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy principles into treatment where appropriate.

Jessica completed her clinical psychology training at the University of Technology Sydney, and has presented research at national conferences. She works out of our Newland Street office on Fridays.
