Pamela (Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Registered AASW member – Specialising in counselling and psychotherapy) achieved her Bachelor’s in Social Work at the University of Sydney and is currently completing her Master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling.
Pamela’s mental health experience spans widely across community, inpatient and emergency settings, within both the private and public health sectors. She works with individuals of all ages and has specialised training in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Pamela has corporate counselling expertise, having worked as a clinical leader for a large EAP provider. In this role, Pamela mentored over four hundred professionals, including high level executives and CEO’s, from various corporate industries to maximise their work performance.
Pamela is a highly skilled therapist, who develops individualised holistic interventions that are person-centred and trauma-informed. She offers focused psychological strategies inclusive of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Solution Focused Interventions; Mindfulness; Motivational Interviewing, Shema and Interpersonal Therapy.
Pamela was nominated for NSW Health Employee of the Year in 2018. Her genuine dedication and drive to support individuals suffering from mental illness, is reflected in her client’s positive outcomes. Pamela is passionate about supporting her clients reach their life purpose, and her warm and caring nature promotes the importance of being heard and understood.
