Role Requirements:

• Medical degree and specialist training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Current registration with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice in child and adolescent psychiatry
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

Role Responsibilites:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations of child and adolescent clients, encompassing clinical interviews, psychological assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
• Collaborate closely with the MDT to devise and implement personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ mental health progress, growth, and development within the context of their treatment plan
• Provide guidance and education to families and caregivers, addressing their concerns and offering insights into relevant mental health and developmental aspects
• Foster seamless collaboration within the MDT, including psychologists, therapists, occupational therapists, and other professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for clients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date psychiatric records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards while ensuring client privacy and confidentiality
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry, contributing to the professional development of the multidisciplinary team

Role Requirements:

• MBBS or Fellowship qualifications with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably working with children and adolescents with mental health concerns (highly desirable)
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice in mental health
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations of paediatric clients, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with the MDT to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients, incorporating evidence-based interventions and therapies
