Fees, rebates & referral information
Our professional fees are set in accordance with the current AMA and APS rates. Medicare rebates are facilitated by AwareHub. Please ensure that your (and your child’s) personal and bank account details (for rebates) are registered with Medicare. Clients 14 years of age and above require their own account registered with Medicare.
You may be eligible for Medicare rebates if you:
Are a registered with Medicare (and have a card)
Have a referral from your GP
Have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP (psychiatry doesn’t require the MHCP)
To claim Medicare rebates for psychology, a valid GP or specialist referral is required in accordance with the number of sessions provided, as set out under the MHCP.
Please note that further referrals will be required to access additional sessions under Medicare, but your clinician will advise you.
To claim Medicare rebates for any other allied health professionals (dietician and exercise physiologist), please contact us regarding the referral requirements. You might be eligible to claim from your private health fund for private consultations with the dietician (please enquire with your health fund). Art therapy does not qualify for a Medicare rebate.
All fees for consultations are paid on the day of your appointment. Payments can be made via credit card (VISA, Mastercard), debit card. Please bring your full card details to the initial appointment.
