About Our Clinic
At AwareHub, we believe that where you live should never determine the quality of mental health care you can access—because better mental health care shouldn’t depend on your postcode.
Across regional Australia, mental health challenges are often more prevalent, yet access to specialist services is significantly limited compared to metropolitan centres. Communities such as Bundaberg and the wider Wide Bay region have historically experienced severe shortages of psychiatrists and specialist providers.
After spending considerable time in the Bundaberg region and developing a strong understanding of the local community, Dr Myers recognised this significant gap. Having grown up in a small town herself, she felt a strong personal connection to the people here and realised there was an opportunity—and a responsibility—to bring innovative, outreach services to a region where they could make a meaningful difference.
Having previously established a successful TMS and Esketamine service in Sydney in 2021, she opened the AwareHub Bundaberg clinic in 2024.
What makes our Bundaberg clinic especially important is that these advanced treatments are available locally. Previously, patients had to travel long distances to city centres—facing extra costs, time away from their families, and disruptions to continuous follow-up care. Today, we are proud to provide life-changing care closer to your home and support networks.
As AwareHub continues to grow, we look forward to expanding our presence across regional Queensland and helping more communities access the specialist mental health services they need and deserve.

We welcome and service DVA (Department of Veterans’ Affairs) clients, WorkCover claims, and NDIS participants across our relevant programs.
In-Clinic Treatments

• One-Off Assessments & Management Plans: Specialised, comprehensive guidance provided directly to local GPs to help manage complex cases (strictly limited availability).
Telehealth Services
To make comprehensive care more accessible to the Wide Bay community, the following services are available via high-quality telehealth with our Sydney-based clinicians:
• Psychology
• Occupational Therapy (OT)
• Speech Pathology
• Dietetics
• Neuropsychology Assessment Services: Including specialised assessments for dementia, memory concerns, IQ, Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD.
Important Referral & Intake Information
Please Note: Due to Dr Myers’ limited regional availability and our strict commitment to clinical safety and high-quality care, all incoming referrals will be carefully triaged for suitability.
• Age Limit: Please note that the Bundaberg clinic is not currently seeing clients under the age of 18.
• Funding & Referrals: We accept referrals for DVA, WorkCover, and NDIS clients. Please ensure relevant claim numbers or plan details are included with the paperwork.
