Fees
Fees, rebates & referral information
Our professional fees are set in accordance with the current AMA and APS rates. Medicare rebates are facilitated by AwareHub. Please ensure that your (and your child’s) personal and bank account details (for rebates) are registered with Medicare. Clients 14 years of age and above require their own account registered with Medicare.
You may be eligible for Medicare rebates if you:
- Are a registered with Medicare (and have a card)
- Have a referral from your GP
- Have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP (psychiatry doesn’t require the MHCP)
To claim Medicare rebates for psychology, a valid GP mental health care plan (MHCP) or specialist referral is required. The initial MHCP covers only 6 therapy sessions; to access a further 4 therapy sessions, another GP referral will be required. Medicare will rebate a total of 10 therapy sessions under each MHCP or valid referral.
To access Medicare rebates for appointments with the dietician, neuropsychologist and occupational therapist, please contact us regarding the referral requirements. Please enquire with your private health fund regarding your eligibility to claim for these appointments under your plan.
All fees for consultations with any of our clinicians are paid on the day of your appointment. Payments can be made via credit card (VISA, Mastercard), debit card. Please bring your full card details to the initial appointment.
Some AwareHub clinicians accept work cover clients. All clients consulting a clinician under an insurance claim (with the exception of iCare clients) are required to pay for their consultation in full on the day of their appointment. An invoice will be provided to claim a reimbursement from the insurer.
Self-managed NDIS participants will be required to pay for their consultation in full on the day of their appointment. An invoice will be provided to claim from the NDIS.
