Dr Jonah Willing is a Forensic and a Generalist Adult Psychiatrist, who offers a warm, person-centred and evidence-based approach. He has experience in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depressive and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Jonah graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), having previously completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with Honours. He is a medical doctor and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He has worked and trained in a range of tertiary hospital settings including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Campbelltown Hospital, and Concord Hospital. He was the recipient of the Justice Health Scholarship and has worked at The Forensic Hospital and within the State-wide Community and Court Liaison Service.
Jonah recognises that individuals have unique needs and goals, and believes that people can be best understood within the broader context of their lives. He aims to bring his friendly and empathetic approach to each of his clients to form trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationships.
